Dresden's Dr. France Ng traveled to Ireland recently to receive a Golden Jubilee Certificate of Commemoration. The certificate, presented to Dr Ng was in proud recognition of his 50th anniversary as an Alumnus of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Dr. Ng said “it was a wonderful trip down memory lane and though it was a long flight it was well worth the time spent”. Doctor Ng arrived in Dresden forty-six years ago to set-up his practice. He had previously been in Hamilton,though he and his wife decided that a small town would be the ideal place to raise children. When contacted, Councillor Joe Faas said, “how fortunate for Dresden area residents that Dr Ng decided to move his medical practice here". Dr. Ng continues to serve patients from the Dresden Medical Centre.
